I don't know how many of you visit or can access Treefrog but a new member from Germany has posted a diorama that is enormous in its breadth and is worth a look.

In his opening post he says that:

"Dear Treefroggers,

I am new in this forum and for a few days I have posted the first pictures and now you get the complete diorama. I collect naps since 2011.
In the last few weeks I have built a Waterloo diorama without Prussia (...at the moment - comes at christmas) only English- and Frenchman.

I have 1.007 figures in this area without horses. The most of all are King & Country. In detail are 599 King & Country, 137 First Legion,
85 Thomas Gunn, 46 Kronprinz, 45 Collectors Showcase, 39 William Britain, 32 St. Petersburg, 15 Artig, 3 John Jenkins, 2 Hachette,
2 Cold Steel Miniatures and 2 Black Hawk (Cantiniere and Monk) on this diorama.
You'll see some buildings from J.G. Miniatures, First Legion, William Britain and Figarti.

I have bought the most of all figures by Hadriansvilla Zinnfiguren, it is a Toy Soldier Dealer in Germany and he has an excellent service.

In the next 17 days you'll see the battle in pictures. Tomorrow I will begin with Wellingtons Staff.

I hope you enjoy the story and you have fun.

Kind regards

Timo
"

The thread is 27 pages long so I'm posting a few of his panoramic photos to give you an idea.

I think we all wish we had room like he does.  On top of that he five cats!  I know our cats would be very interested in something like that.

I would love to have a board that big for a WWII playground.

Thanks for posting Jazz.

Thanks for posting Brad.  That is one impressive display of my favorite part of the period (British v French, not Waterloo per se).  My one consolation is that I have more FL Napoleonic figures than he does. :P  :D

Agreed, it's incredibly cool.

Must've cost a cool fortune as well.

Very nice to appreciate someone else's excellent work.
