I think I like your painted version plastic better than the metal one. Good Job LT. Sorry about the bayonet.

The bayonet wasn't your fault they were poorly done and finished in the Zulu series including the metals and once again thanks for the figure....Joe

It's been awhile since I posted on this topic so thought I'd feature some unpainted figures of Conte's 24th Ft. and Zulus....The Lt.

Yes Lt., I like the painted plastic better. These are good to show the great figs, but painted, they take on a whole new life and dimension. I am completely bias to Conte's figs, but you have a great collection of other figs that are amazing. Not to forget, you have done some nice conversions and paint jobs. Great Stuff, Hobby On, Mike.

I have loved those Conte Zulu War figures from the moment I saw them several years back. I was shocked anyone was going to do that theme in plastic in such large scope. And now with more to be on the way, I am tickled pink. Lt, you have certainly raised the bar when it comes to putting together both a collection of the Zulu War in figures and creating top-notch dios on the subject. You continue to inspire. Keep it up. Best regards,
Mike

According to George, RC is going to have eight tables at the Hackensack show. I wonder if anything newer than the Chicago show is planed. I want to see the plastic Spartans up close, and just see whats in his future plans. Mike smile.gif

I just received an e-mail from Conte telling folks they've got an entire new line of Zulu War figures in both plastic and metals by early 2008. We can always keep our fingers crossed! They look beautiful, of course they do. Now just get 'em here! Can't wait to see what you do with 'em LT.

Oceania was at war with Eastasia. Oceania had always been at war with Eastasia

In visting the Conte web site and seeing the photos that have been post it seems that some of the figures have already been done in plastic and if it's the case it's possible will see them shortly after the begining of the new year the plastic ones that is. Could be wrong again my call on the Napoleonics proved to be wrong but then again you never know for RC tends to be full of surprises look what he's got headed our way.....The Lt.

Joe! Hows the painting coming along on all those zulu renforcements you posted half painted? Are you gearing up for a large scale diorama again?
I can,t wait to see what you do with the new britains figures. You told me they looked incredible and now I know what you were talking about.
TIM!!!
