Brilliant little bit of real life vignette set into a larger diorama.
I try to do much the same Guy. Several different stories going on within the overall picture.

Hello everyone,
Today I finished painting extras (animals and equipment).
I use Tamiya reference to animals and Historex for accessories ...
Some difference of scale, but if all works to display in or out.
I still have the land base to shape .. etc ...
Still plenty of time before submitting the completed project ....
Best.
Guy.

Hello Guy,
That is just fantastique.
I think what you teach us is that its the small details that add to the overall reality of your dioramas. For example, the addition of the cockerel in this scene is absolute genius. And touches like that are appropriate for any era we are depicting.
Cheers

The scene with the animals gathered for hand outs is awesome. Presently I have three cats but in the past I've had dogs, chickens and goats as well. Goats have quite the personalities, funny stuff.
The scene looks great!
